Lili Wang 王莉莉
Lili Wang, – Famed erhu player, educator, associate professor and tutor for the master degree
program at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
She began learning the erhu from her father at the age of 3. She was admitted to Music Primary
School in 1978 and to Music Middle School in 1982, both affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of
Music. In 1988, she began her undergraduate study in Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In
1991, she won the first prize at the 14th “Shanghai Spring”; National Erhu Competition, the
professional group. In the same year, she was awarded a bachelor’s degree in advance by
Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and has since been teaching at the affiliated Music Middle
school. She was an outstanding student of prestigious professors Chen Dacan, Tang Chungui,
Wang yi, Lin Xinming and Wu Zhimin.
During her distinguished teaching career, Wang Lili has won many awards:
1997 and 2002-Tang’s Education Award in Shanghai
2003 – The Fifth Ou Yongxi Excellent Education of the People’s Republic of China.
2004 – Model of Teacher’s Ethics; in Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Dean Award of
Shanghai Conservatory of Music
2005 – Principal Award of Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music
2008 – Art Contribution Award from the National Development Center and Artist Association of
the Ministry of Culture
2011- “International Outstanding Teacher Award” from Hong Kong International Art Forum.
Her students have also won many prizes at national major erhu contests, including the Golden
Bell Award, the gold, silver and bronze awards of Wenhua Prize.
In 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2013, she held four successful concerts: “Wang Lili Teacher and
Student Erhu Solo Concert” for four times in Shanghai. In April 2017, she performed in four
consecutive “Wang Lili Teaching Achievements Concerts” in Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
In addition, she visited the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong,
Taiwan and other countries for cultural activities and performances.
There are more than 10 CD albums of Wang’s erhu performance. She has also published over
10 erhu monographs, teaching materials including the “Elementary Course of Children’s
Collective Course”.. She initiated the publication of 80 original tracks with exploratory creative
features in China.
Lili Wang’s performance is distinctive, artistically exquisite and technically outstanding. She is reputed as “Mozart in erhu performance, a gifted poet in the string instrument music”.
著名二胡教育家,演奏家。上海音乐学院教授、硕士生导师。
3岁开始随父亲习琴,1978年考入上音附小;1982年考入上音附中;1988年以优异成绩被保送至
上海音乐学院。1991年获第十四届“上海之春”全国二胡比赛专业组第一名;同年,上海音乐学院
提前授予她学士学位,并留校任教于附中至今。在校期间曾先后师从陈大灿、唐春贵、王乙、林
心铭、吴之珉等教授。
2003年11月获中华人民共和国文化部“第五届区永熙优秀教育奖”;
2003年成为上海音乐学院首批骨干教师;
2004年9月获上海音乐学院“师德标兵”荣誉称号;
2004年11月获“上海音乐学院院长奖”;
2005年11月获“上海音乐学院附中校长奖”;
2008年8月文化部民族民间发展中心及艺术家协会特授予“艺术贡献奖”;
2011年7月获香港国际艺坛颁发的“国际杰出教师奖”。
她的学生曾囊括文化部“金钟奖”、“文华奖”金、银、铜奖。
2005年、2006年、2009年、2013年在上海成功地举办了四场“王莉莉师生二胡独奏音乐会”等。
同时她还多次出访美国、加拿大、法国、德国、日本、香港、台湾等国家及地区作文化交流活动
的演出。
出版各类二胡CD10余张;二胡专著、教材、曲集10余种;并首次在全国出版探索性质的创作曲
目80首,出版《少儿二胡集体课初级教程》。
她被誉为:“二胡演奏无所不能的莫扎特、拉弦器乐充满想象力的诗人”。
